The 2015 Alive After 5 season is underway, Cold Hard Cash played in downtown Billings last night! A Montana high school student pushes for carrying guns in schools. Voting day via ballot is June 9th. News 1: 3,000 enjoyed Cold Hard Cash performing at last night's first Alive After 5 event in downtown Billings. Alive After 5 will happen each Thursday beginning at 5 p.m. at a variety of downtown Billings establishments through August.
News 2: Chet Billi goes to high school in Whitefish and is sponsoring a bill that would allow teachers to carry guns in Montana high schools. Senate Bill 143 failed, which would allow permit holders to carry a gun on campus. Billi says that the issue should be decided by voters in 2016.
News 3: Your ballot is due by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9th. On the ballot is a levy that would expand the Yellowstone County Jail and fund building maintenance. The levy would be for $1.8 million annually to run and staff the expansion.
