The Plug-Ins Have Arrived in Billings

Yesterday I was out and about on the West End taking care of some business. I stopped by the Big Horn Resort and as I parked I saw this.

Now this may be familiar to some of you but this was the first time I had ever seen this.

That is a car plugged into an electric outlet that almost looks like a fuel pump in its own way.

Electric cars have been around long enough I suppose. The thing is, up until yesterday I thought there was a long extension cord involved or at the very least and generator that produced the electricity for the engine.

I won't even pretend to know what I am talking about when it comes to electric cars because honestly, I don't have the slightest clue.

I just thought it was interesting to see this for the first time.

Even more interesting to me was this wasn't at a normal gas station. This was in the actual parking lot of the Big Horn Resort. A complementary service for staying with them maybe? Not sure.

Regardless, they are among us and they could be plugged into an outlet near you!
