Pedestrian Killed in Billings Heights Name Released

Last Thursday night, May 28th there was a fatal, pedestrian-vehicle accident off of Bench Boulevard where an 18 year old driver hit and killed a 33 year old Billings woman. Yellowstone County Coroner, Bill Jones today released the name of the victim as 33 year old, Staci Ann Huvinen.

The 18 year old was driving down Kyhl Lane near the Heights Walmart off of Bench Boulevard when he drove through a puddle and his vision was obscured for a moment with the water spraying up on the windshield while Huvinen was walking.

The truck collided into the victim and KTVQ.com said Huvinen died from severe blunt force trauma.  The 18 year old driver and his passenger were not harmed and no charges have been filed at this time.  The investigation continues.
