19-Year-Old Climber in Critical Condition

Spokesmen at Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center say the man who fell while climbing Granite Peak Monday is in critical condition.  19-year-old Thomas Craig Pfeifle of Rapid City, South Dakota was flown by medical helicopter from Bozeman to Billings before being moved to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle due to the nature of his injuries.  Pfeifle is the son of South Dakota Seventh Circuit Court judges Craig Pfeifle and Jane Wipf Pfeifle.
