A crew from the UK Telegraph was planning on interviewing me after the show. They wanted to talk about Montana's ban on TikTok. We decided to mic them up too.
Tester earlier said he supported a ban on TikTok, but now that the Republican Supermajority in the Montana Legislature and the Republican Governor actually got the job done...Tester says Montana should not have banned the app.
'I think Americans have become complacent in everything they do. We want our TikTok, we want our Facebook, we want this, we want that, we want our tinker toys. And we don't care what China does, or our government does, as long as we have our drug of choice..."
So let me get this straight, we hardly hear a peep out of the ACLU during all of these Communist Chinese-style lockdowns and mandates in America, but now that Montana passes a law to crack down on TikTok- the ACLU rises in defense of the Communist Chinese?
I got a great message from Tony Katz, a great radio host out in Indiana. He wanted to hear our take on Montana now being the first state in the nation to stick it to the Communist Chinese and ban TikTok. I thought it'd be great for us to hear Tony's take back here in Montana as well.
Senate Bill 419 would ban the download and use of TikTok in Montana, with fines of $10K per day to internet providers who offer or support the platform.
