The Avengers

Well, these are awesome. Our pals at ScreenCrush hipped us to some artwork of Alison Brie as Captain America, Sandra Bullock as Iron Man and Amber Heard as Thor. That could be a pretty fun movie. Sure, 'The Avengers' was a great movie but there was only one female member (Black Widow) of the superhero team. There are already rumors that Joss Whedon wants to add Wasp to 'Avengers 2' but what if the entire 'Avengers' team was recast as women? Hey, if they can do an all-girl version of 'The Expendables' why not 'The Avengers?' And what if they cast Alison Brie, Sandra Bullock and Amber Heard?

'The Avengers' wound up with a lineup of characters previously seen in the previous Marvel movies like Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Nick Fury and Hawkeye. But if writer/director Joss Whedon had gotten his away, another well-known superhero would've debuted in 'The Avengers' as a part of the team. Who was it and will it be someone we see in 'The Avengers 2?'

While 'The Avengers' may have opened in theaters before director Christopher Nolan's epic conclusion to the 'Batman' trilogy, 'The Dark Knight Rises' is by far the better movie.In the eternal battle between Marvel and DC superheros, Nolan and his cast are the clear victors in this round.
