According to a tweet from a liberal book store in Helena, they said three different customers showed up before 1 in the afternoon and said they were going to be leaving the state of Montana due to the politics of Governor Greg Gianforte (R-MT) and the Montana Republican Party.
Here's what stood out to me with all of these games, and all of these victories. You notice it wasn't simply about getting a trophy. It wasn't about simply being declared a winner. It was about having the chance to EARN IT.
Well, we're about a month in to the legislative session. So I figured it might be a good time to throw out a question. Have we seen a massive spike in COVID-19 case numbers in Lewis & Clark County, the home county of our state's capitol in Helena?
"COVID starts fires and kills Christmas trees now? Holey moley." That was one reaction to the news that Montana won't have a Christmas tree in the state capitol in Helena this year. Another commenter called it Bullock's "final little FU on the way out the door."
