Google unveiled the design of its satellite-controlled cars of the future. Google’s vision includes never owning a car because a two-seater satellite controlled car, traveling at 25-mph, will take us where we want to go. I don’t trust Google to take me where I want to go on the Internet, let alone take me somewhere in a vehicle without an accelerator, brake, or steering wheel.

Most men would reply to Google’s idea with, “You can have my steering wheel when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.  ”In Google’s vision of the future, we’re all riding in vehicles that look like life-sized Playskool toys. Most men like cars with a sense of style that reflect something about their personality. Cars are an American symbol of independence and freedom. Google isn’t designing the car of the future. It’s creating a sheep transport.

My name is E. Curtis Johnson. If I wanted an emasculating power to control where I went, while shrinking my testicles to the size of bee-bees, I’d do it the old fashion way - watching “The View” or “Oprah!”
