A New Jersey judge ruled that Moms decide if Dads are in the baby delivery room.

Plotnick v. DeLuccia was the timeless and romantic tale of: man meets woman, woman gets pregnant, man promises to marry woman, woman breaks up with man, man sues woman to be in the delivery room, and Judge says, “Mother’s rule, babies drool and the health of both comes before a Dad’s desire to attend the delivery.

This is a wise ruling. Ironically, fathers are now not necessary to be present at conception or delivery.  I’m glad my wife wanted me in the delivery room for physical and emotional support. It’s also possible she wanted my neck within arms reach because, without any pain medication, she give birth to three sons.

I’m E. Curtis Johnson. I know that the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. The hand that makes a fist, while screaming, “You did this to me,” also rules the delivery room, whether a judge orders it or not.
