Check! – Opinions From E. Curtis Johnson

Russian President Vladimir Putin is playing chess with the west by moving troops into the Crimea. Putin just said, “check” and President Obama is scrambling for a counter move.

During the 2012 Presidential debates, Obama proved he was off his game and off the squares when he ridiculed Mitt Romney. Obama said, “When you were asked, what’s the biggest geopolitical threat facing America, you said Russia…the 1980’s are now calling to ask for their political policy back because the cold war has been over for 20 years.”

In 2008, while speaking of Senator Obama’s ambivalence to Russia’s invasion of Georgia, Sarah Palin said, “[his was] the kind of response that would only encourage Putin to invade the Ukraine, next.” Obama’s losing at chess with Russia and losing the game of,  “Are you smarter than Republican candidates.”

I’m E. Curtis Johnson. Putin continues to prove he’s a master of Russian style world political chess. I wonder if Sarah Palin can see Putin laughing at Obama from her house?
