We Don’t Forget 9/11, but Let Us Also Never Forget the Attack on Benghazi

I'll never forget the events form the 9/11 attacks. We were here, on the air, covering them as they happened.

We will recount those events and play some patriotic songs on this anniversary every year. But I would hope that people would not forget that this is also the date, Sept. 11, 2012, when the attack at Benghazi started. It would last until the 12th, and result in the deaths of J. Christopher Stevens, Ambassador to Libya; his information officer, Sean Smith; and former Navy Seals who tried to defend them, Glen Dougherty, and Tyrone S. Woods.

It's my personal feeling that some government official higher up the ladder, let this happen. We never used to.
