We all knew that 2020 was a presidential pipe dream for Gov. Steve Bullock (D-MT). But we thought they'd at least give him a chance to eat a corn dog at the Iowa State Fair this year before the wheels came off of his 2020 run. At this rate, national Dems won't even want Bullock to run for the US Senate in 2020, let alone the White House.

Montana Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Rick Hill lost his bid to be governor back in 2012, but he was threatened of losing a lot more, right up until this morning, May 18, when Montana Political Practices Commissioner Jonathan Motl dismissed a campaign finance lawsuit against Hill. Hill’s attorney Matthew Monforton says his client is relieved.

On Wednesday, Commissioner of Political Practices Jonathan Motl said his office will be re-activating a complaint against 2012 Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Hill for accepting a $500,000 donation.
