One Big Sky Center is expected to dominate the discussion at today’s Billings City Council meeting.  In addition to a consultant’s report on the proposed skyscraper project the Council will decide on other tax increment financing matters today.  The regular business meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall on N. 27th St.  A closed executive session to discuss pending litigation will begin before the regular session at 5:30 p.m.
The city council is also scheduled to decide whether to approve up to $350,000 in tax increment funds to reimburse the Society of St. Vincent de Paul for interior remodeling and equipment in their new office.  The Catholic charity plans to sell its building and move to the Crane building at First Avenue South and S. 30th Street.  The board of directors for the Downtown Billings Partnership has already approved the TIF request for funds.
