I’m breaking federal law. I don’t have a health insurance. My job was eliminated and I haven’t found a replacement. I can’t afford COBRA payments. Even if it wasn’t too late for open enrollment under the Affordable Care Act, the two doctors I need to see don’t take the government’s insurance. Additionally, the ACA devastated my wife’s medical-related business that she’d owned and operated since 1996. She’s looking for work also. The “not paying for my protection” complaint is lost on me.

Please forgive me if I don’t cry tears for people whining that some closely held corporations don’t have to pay for contraception. I must have missed the memo to Americans that having sex was a legal right and that it’s someone else’s responsibility to pay for the protection.

I’m E. Curtis Johnson. Not having health insurance is a total buzz-kill, but President Obama’s a great contraceptive! It takes a lot for me to admit that I’m not in the mood. Not tonight, honey, Obama’s given me a headache.
