From Russia With Love – Opinions From E. Curtis Johnson

The Obama Administration is using an interesting sanction tactic against Russia for annexing Crimea: freeze the American assets of a private bank, used by Vladimir Putin and bar the bank, and several of Putin’s inner-circle, from doing any business in the United States and from making transactions in American dollars.I don’t know if this will work or not work. 

I am confident that Russia’s retaliation tactic won’t work. The Kremlin froze the Russian assets of three White House aids, three Republicans and three Democrats from Congress, including Majority Leader Harry Reid and Speaker John Boehner. Here’s the problem. None of these people have Russian assets! Unless the Rooskies are including the Vodka in Boehner’s liquor cabinet and Reid’s VHS copy of the James Bond flick, “From Russia With Love.”
