A young man charged with killing a motorcyclist with his car while allegedly high on marijuana appeared in court Monday on a homicide charge.  19 year old Kent Jensen was charged with vehicular homicide while under the influence before Yellowstone County Justice of the Peace Pedro Hernandez.

Jensen is accused of killing 31 year old Jashua Fry of Billings, on March 7.  The victim was riding on South Frontage Road when he was struck by a car.  Jensen told deputies he was driving to a Subway restaurant when the crash occurred.

His friend told deputies he and Jensen had smoked marijuana for most of the day.  Jensen stayed at the scene until law enforcement arrived and consented to a blood draw, which showed THC in his system, about four times the legal limit.  Fry was pronounced dead at the scene.  Jensen was released on his own supervision Monday.
