What a Great Summer Weekend!

It was not possible to do everything that Billings had to offer this past weekend!  But we did plenty in town and around Billings. After a stormy Relay For Life broadcast on Friday night the Relay event turned out really good.  Fantastic Relay fireworks show too!  I was glad to see the $596,000 raised when we got going on Saturday morning.

Keri and I then took a day trip to Red Lodge!  In the past we have taken day trips to Red Lodge during the winter but it has been a while since taking a trip during the summer time.  Had a great lunch at Red Lodge Pizza Company and a nice hour long search for a camp ground for later on this summer.  We also had a picturesque drive up the Beartooth Highway too!

Saturday evening we headed out to Bear Creek Saloon for the pig races!  Wow that is a great time.  On the way back to Billings we stopped by Red Lodge Ales and crashed a friend's wedding she was dee jaying.  The bride was not to happy with us but we had fun with the whole thing.

Sunday was pretty uneventful, except for the five loads of laundry we completed and witnessing a shoplifting at a Billings grocery store, but that is another blog for later this week!   How was your weekend?
