The dead body of an unidentified man has been found on a rural Park County property, twelve days after the owner reported seeing a vehicle driving through their fields late at night.  It was discovered down in a draw Tuesday afternoon.  The Montana Highway Patrol says that a resident off Highway 89 and Adair Creek Road reported seeing a vehicle drive into their hay field around 10 p.m.

The vehicle reportedly continued driving, at which point its lights appeared to have switched off.  The vehicle appears to have fallen down a 6 foot embankment and rolled to a stop in a draw, landing on the passenger side.  The vehicle was discovered Tuesday about a half mile from where it was first seen on the property.

Asphyxiation by the man’s seat belt is being investigated as a possible cause of death.  An additional medical examiner has been called in to help investigate.
