A man’s body was found near the Montana Avenue overpass yesterday, where it was likely unnoticed for many hours.  Billings Police Department investigators are awaiting the Yellowstone County Coroner's autopsy report to determine the cause of the man’s death.  The body was discovered Wednesday morning near Seventh Street West and Montana Avenue, according to Detective Sergeant Brian Krivitz of the Billings Police.  No foul play is suspected by authorities at this time.

At about 8:40 a.m. yesterday, a Montana Rail Link employee discovered the body of a man near a concrete barrier north of the railroad tracks.  There were reportedly no obvious signs of how the man had died, prompting BPD to follow protocol which requires officers to investigate all unexplained deaths as suspicious until proven otherwise.  The man’s identity and age are unknown.  His body was positioned in a way that made it difficult to see from the road.
