Hot bike sold to a Billings bike shop.  William Melcher was arrested for the theft and attempted sale of the bike.  Talk continues on how to ease overcrowding at Yellowstone County Detention Center.  The new West End middle school name may be Ben Steele Middle School. 

News 1:  A Billings man, William Melcher tried unsuccessfully to sell a stolen bike to the Spoke Shop in Billings.  Employees realized it was a bike reported stolen and called Billings Police.

News 2:  Efforts to ease overcrowding at Yellowstone County continue as Sheriff Mike Linder is suggesting moving about 100 inmates to other Montana facilities.  The county is also determining which inmates may be released with ankle bracelets for the remainder of their sentence.

News 3:  On Monday, June 29th area residents who support that the new West End middle school should be named after Ben Steele who survived the Bataan Death March. Steele taught at MSU-B for over 20 years.  The supporters meet with School District 2 next week on the issue.
