A man died on July 4th after a mishap with a firework in South Billings.  Loud boom brings firefighters to Curbside Recycling in Billings!  A hatchet attack in Billings Heights is being investigated.  News 1:  A 32 year old Billings man is dead after a firework mortar blew up.  Sgt. Harley Cagle from the Billings Police Department said the man died of blunt force trauma.  The incident happened at about 10:30 p.m. on the 4th of July.

News 2:  An apparent hatchet attack on Bench Boulevard sent one man to Billings Clinic.  Lt. Jeremy House from Billings P.D. says the investigation is still going on and authorities do not know the identity of the man with the hatchet.

News 3:  A loud boom was heard the day after the 4th of July from Curbside Recycling on Charles Street in Billings.  Billings Fire worked to ventilate the building from thick, black smoke.  Battalion Chief Terry Larson said crews have not been able to identify the cause of the smoke or loud boom.
