It's been more than two weeks since a shooting was reported in Billings, but that streak ended last night when gunfire erupted on the south side.

An early Sunday morning (8/8) shooting near downtown Billings sent one person to the hospital, according to the Billings Police Department.

Faith-based CLDI announced their plans this week to build a new, 26-unit apartment building near the corner of 1st Ave S and 29th St S.
