The price of lumber nosedived across the country once the pandemic officially kicked off. As Fox Business reports, lumber prices hit a low back in April of 2020, but have now rebounded by 395%. Montana actually did better than expected in 2020. Here's the numbers.
Aside from natural gas, what else is brought to the surface when we drill for oil? Water. A lot of it. That's what makes a company eyeing a move to Billings, Montana even more interesting- they're able to take the wastewater from the oil fields and turn it into useable water for agricultural irrigation.
Lockwood is going to have a chance to show off their impressive new high school, and Billings is going to land the business. But I gotta say, I feel bad for our friends in Bozeman who are now losing out on some business, and some great basketball as well.

An online report from OilPrice.com says, “The Bakken crude oil production has started to grow again and is expected to beat in the first half of 2018 its own production record of 1.23 million bpd from December 2014.”
