Mall shopping can be overwhelming for anyone, especially special needs kids, so the Rimrock Mall hosted a special, quieter chance to get a picture with Santa on Sunday morning. The “Soothing Santa” allows families to get pictures before the stores open. Music is turned off and other distractions eliminated. The national group Autism Speaks has helped with these events around the country since 2011. This is the first year at the Rimrock Mall. Another “Soothing Santa” session is scheduled for next Sunday, Dec. 3rd from 10 to 11am. You can call in advance for an appointment.
