Vice President Mike Pence will be in Billings on Friday campaigning for Montana congressional candidate Greg Gianforte.  The Montana Republican Party has confirmed that Donald Trump’s VP will be coming to Billings for an event involving a campaign rally for the GOP’s Gianforte at the MetraPark Pavilion, and local Republican officials said it’s free to attend.

KTVQ.com reports that Pence will touch down in Billings on Friday evening.  The rally will take place at 6 p.m. and is open to the public.  Pence’s visit comes on the heels of a poll indicating an ever-tightening race between the Republican nominee and the Democratic challenger Rob Quist.  And on Thursday, Donald J. Trump Jr. returns to Montana to attend several rallies for Gianforte.  Montana’s only House seat was left open when then-Congressman Ryan Zinke was confirmed as Secretary of the Interior.
