Uh oh. Impeachment isn't popular, and Americans are demanding that Congress move on to more important work like passing the US-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement (USMCA). And Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi knows it.

Hmmm. Isn't this exactly what The New York Times quoted me last week saying? Well, now Politico has this big story out about how Speaker Pelosi is getting hammered by the "battleground Democrats" who fear impeachment and are facing pressure to get the job done on the USMCA:

Pelosi will bring in AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka on Tuesday to speak with freshman Democrats, many of whom have been privately demanding quicker action on President Donald Trump’s trade deal, according to multiple people familiar with the meeting.

Meanwhile, The New York Times also mentioned my conversation with a state senator who lives just South of the Canadian border. That, of course, is State Senator Mike Cuffe (R-Eureka). He is also the President of the Pacific Northwest Economic Region (PNWER). Here's the full audio, as we chat with State Senator Cuffe about the importance of the USMCA and more:
