OSHA is on the scene and has launched an investigation into an oil well flash fire Saturday morning in Watford City, North Dakota that killed an oil worker from Rock Springs Wyoming and burned two other workers. The flash fire was quickly extinguished and no oil left the well or contaminated that area. It happened at a well about eight miles east of Watford City around around 8:30 Saturday morning. The well had been fracked when it “experienced a kick of gas” which ignited.
