Montana Supreme Court candidate Lawrence VanDyke is on the campaign trail, carrying with him a binder full of papers he claims are evidence of his opponent's "hypocrisy."

VanDyke claims that his opponent, incumbent Justice Mike Wheat, has spoken out against partisan support in non-partisan races, but has accepted it for himself in the current election.

VanDyke also claims that Wheat is a participant in a money cycle that flows from trial lawyers throughout the state, into certain Supreme Court candidate's campaigns, who then rule on cases presented by many of the very same lawyers.

"It's bad enough to have hypocrisy in politics, but when you're talking about hypocrisy in judicial elections, it shows that you're not being principled, you're being results oriented," Vandyke said.
