Missoula police are still searching for a man and a vehicle that disappeared more than a week ago.

"We received a report earlier this week about an elderly man, 79-year-old Ron Sarin. He apparently has not been heard from since Feb. 8," Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh said. "There's some concern that he may have gotten in his car, which is also missing, and driven someplace but nobody seems to know where. He hasn't shown up since."

Welsh said authorities have no idea which direction Sarin may have driven, but they are hoping someone may notice him or his vehicle.

"He's a white male. He has grey hair, but is balding. He has blue eyes and he is actually missing his right eye. He's about 5'8 and 140 pounds," Welsh said. "The car he drives is a 1990 Subaru Legacy station wagon and is grey in color. It has Montana LP 4-19724B."

Anyone with information about Mr. Sarin’s whereabouts has been to call crime stoppers at 721-4444.
