MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Police in Missoula say a jailer who was apprehended after allegedly videotaping a woman in a swimming pool changing room over the weekend told investigators he went to Splash Montana with the intention of videotaping women and that it wasn't the first time he'd done so.

Missoula County Sheriff Carl Ibsen fired 27-year-old Michael Gauci on Tuesday after prosecutors filed charges of burglary and tampering with evidence for allegedly trying to delete the video. His initial appearance in Justice Court is set for Thursday.

The affidavit supporting the charges says a search of Gauci's camera found that he had taken videos of three adult women in the changing rooms at the pool.

The burglary charge stems from the allegation that he entered the pool to commit an offense.
