March Against Drugs Saturday

The 21st annual March Against Drugs and Violence– which started in 1997, with 12 people– drew about 250 for this year’s march at the Yellowstone County courthouse on Saturday. Rev. Melvin Terry of All Nations Christian Fellowship Church gave the opening prayer. This year’s March Against Drugs and Violence focused on the growing problem of prescriptions drugs. Billings Police Chief Rich St. John said we’ve lost about 100 people to prescription opioids, heroin of fentanyl.
