A Billings man was shot in the abdomen early Monday outside a home in a subdivision west of Billings.  As of this report, no arrests have been made, according to Yellowstone County Sheriff Mike Linder.
At about 12:15 a.m. Monday, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call in the 8900 block of Longmeadow Drive, which is in the Tanglewood Lakes Estates subdivision.  There, a man had a gunshot to the abdomen.  He and others that were with him went to the Scheels parking lot where they met an ambulance.
The shooting is thought to be an isolated incident between several people who knew each other and likely stemmed from an earlier conflict.  The 911 caller reported several armed people near a residence and one of them had broken out a window.  The person told the dispatcher someone was kicking the front door, and a shot was fired from inside the residence.  Several bystanders fled the scene.
