A Lockwood home was severely damaged today in an early morning fire.  Six children and two adults were in the home at the time of the fire but no injuries were reported, according to Capt. David McKinney, of Lockwood Fire and Rescue.

At about 2 a.m. firefighters responded to 226 Suburban Drive where a fire had started at the rear of a single family home.  The family was inside when the fire started.  Their barking dogs and smoke alarms woke the family, and they left the building unharmed.  The fire’s cause is under investigation by Yellowstone Sheriffs and Lockwood Fire and Rescue.
