In a race for the U.S. Senate that has drawn national attention and numerous visits to Montana from the president, vice president and members of the first family endorsing GOP nominee  Matt Rosendale, it was incumbent Democratic Senator Jon Tester’s turn on Wednesday.
Big Sky Country’s big farmer in the Senate was endorsed by The Big Lebowski.
Actor Jeff Bridges joined Montana State University College Democrats on Wednesday afternoon on the Bozeman campus to endorse Tester, who is seeking re-election against Republican state auditor Matt Rosendale. Bridges fielded questions from the moderator and students about his politics, but also about his career. Bridges won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 2009’s “Crazy Heart.” He stressed the importance of voting in a state where Tester only won by 3,000 votes in the last election.
