Three recent investigations at three different Montana schools have revealed suspected inappropriate teacher-student relationships. The Montana Board of Public Education can discipline a teacher for reasons ranging from incompetence to gross neglect– or conviction of certain crimes and immoral conduct. The board also oversees teacher certification. School Districts in Great Falls, Ronan– north of Missoula– and Helena have reported sexual or inappropriate relationships between teachers and students.
