In case you missed it, we aired a special show for the 4th of July on our statewide radio talk show- Montana Talks.

 

Staff Sergeant David Bellavia is the first living Iraq War veteran to receive the medal of honor. Last week, he was inducted into the Pentagon’s Hall of Heroes for conspicuous gallantry in November 2004 during Operation Phantom Fury in Fallujah, Iraq.

So on the 4th, the day that we celebrate our nation’s Independence, we also wanted to honor those like Staff Sergeant Bellavia who sacrificed so much for this country. If you missed it, we played the full speech by Staff Sergeant Bellavia to his fellow soldiers.
