Billings police are investigating a weekend attack against a 17-year-old girl, who was taken to St. Vincent’s Healthcare at about 9 a.m. Saturday.  According to Billings police Lt. Casey Hafner, the attack happened Friday at about 10 p.m.  Billings police have submitted the case to the Yellowstone County Attorney’s office for a possible arrest warrant.
Billings High School junior, Redwillow Horsecapture, suffered a concussion and fractured jaw.  She lives with her grandparents, Daniel and Lorna Knowshisgun, who said the attack has left their granddaughter damaged, both physically and mentally.

Horsecapture reported to police she was on the Rims Friday when one of her friends had gone missing.  She remembered being hit in the face by a man she didn’t know and kicked multiple times.  Doctors had to screw a plate into her jaw and wire it shut.  The plate will have to stay in for at least six months.
