A fundraising campaign has begun in the form of an online account, opened for a Billings woman injured when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver while she was riding a bicycle.  The gofundme.com donation page identifies the woman as 33-year-old Genie Cabrera.  KTVQ.com reports that Cabrera was injured Sunday when she was struck from behind while riding a bicycle on Rosebud Drive.

The driver reportedly did not stop and left the scene without knowing if her victim was seriously injured.  She was identified by police later in the day on Sunday and processed for DUI, but she was not arrested and no charges have been filed.  Her identity has not been released, but police said the incident remains under investigation.  Cabrera is the mother of three children.  A link to the GoFundMe account can be found at KTVQ.com.
