Thirteen-year-old Aidan Veress, a seventh-grader from Gardiner Public Schools, took first place at the Treasure State Spelling Bee at Rocky Mountain College Saturday afternoon.  He bested 58 challengers from around the state.  Aidan came in second at the state contest last year. He now advances to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. in May.  His victory earns him an all-expenses-paid trip for himself and a chaperone.
