Billings Logan International Airport has some exciting news to kickoff the summer travel season in Montana- cheap flights between Billings and Denver!

According to a press release from Frontier Airlines, fares as low as $39 will be offered for service between Billings and Denver to celebrate the launch of the new service.

Here's some of the reactions from airline and local officials contained in the release.

Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President, Commercial for Frontier Airlines:

We are excited to begin service in Billings with non-stop flights to Denver and connections to destinations across the country. Frontier is always looking for ways to make travel easier and more affordable, and our Kids Fly Free, and Friends Fly Free programs are the latest example of what we mean by Low Fares Done Right.”

Kevin Ploehn, Director of Aviation and Transit at City of Billings Logan International Airport:

Frontier Airlines inaugural flight from Billings to Denver will fill a void that has been needed at the Billings Logan International Airport. A true ultra-low-cost carrier like Frontier will help to again simulate additional travel between these two cities and ultimately enhance the economic growth to our community. We are very pleased to see Frontier in Billings, the largest City in Montana.

Billings Mayor Bill Cole:

We are very excited to see Frontier begin service between Billings and Denver. Both of these cities offer a lot to visit and explore. Denver has a lot of the bigger city venues that will attract the Billings traveler and Billings is the Trailhead to all of Montana and its unspoiled countryside. A win-win for everyone.

John Brewer, President and CEO of Billings Chamber of Commerce:

Denver is one of the top destinations for the Billings traveler. We are pleased that Frontier sees the value in our market and is returning after a few years absence. This flight will provide a low-cost option with additional travel times for leisure and business travel—our primary travel segment.
