KTVQ.com reports that police in Columbia Falls say the cyber-terrorist behind the threats that closed down schools in Flathead County is now sending text messages to parents and students.  Police Chief Clint Peters said in a statement Saturday the person was able to hack into the School District server where he gained access to phone numbers of staff, parents, and students.

Chief Peters added that there is no longer any potential threat to the community and [quote] “this person is only trying to gain power and self satisfaction through fear and intimidation… Our law enforcement agencies are remaining vigilant, proactive, and investigating each of these threats as leads,” [end quote]  Officials ask anyone who receives a text from a phone number that is not recognized should not engage, but immediately contact the Columbia Falls Police Department at (406) 892-32-34.
