That's right. He's the guy that's trying to shut down Colstrip, Montana.

Washington Governor Jay Inslee (D-MT) recently announced his run for president. His focus? Climate change. In case you missed it, he got called out by MSNBC, after a reported increase in greenhouse gas emissions in Washington state.

Townhall.com's Ian Snively has this:

The Seattle Times reported in January that while Washington state made a plan to decrease gas emissions, “to 1990 levels by the year 2020,” it rose by 6.1 percent between 2012 and 2015. The Washington Department of Ecology said that this was partially due to, “increasing fossil-fuel-generated electricity and a booming economy.”

But Inslee suggested that it was because he wasn’t given enough power to make the big decisions.

So, to break it down for you: this is the guy who wants to shut down Colstrip- a major job and revenue provider in Montana, due to his concerns about greenhouse gas emissions. Maybe he should focus on his own backyard before trying to trash ours.
