Butte native Tim Montana is making waves in the country music world yet again...with his latest "Mostly Stoned" music video directed by Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen.

Despite the song’s title, the song isn’t a party anthem but rather about heartbreak.

The song is written from the perspective of a man “who’s sick of the world,” Montana said, wanting to break free from the things that one wants to break free from and reflecting on a "girl who broke his heart.”

How did they meet? Tim Montana told CMT's Hot 20 Countdown that fellow Butte, Montana native and Navy SEAL Rob O'Neill met Charlie Sheen and connected the two (remember the Navy Seal movie featuring Charlie Sheen?).

If Waylon Jennings and ZZ Top had a baby, and that baby was raised by Kid Rock. Or something like that. That's how Tim Montana describes his band- Tim Montana and the Shrednecks.

Butte’s own Tim Montana played Alive After 5 in Billings this past Thursday, before heading north to headline Pioneer Days in Scobey. But before he travelled north, he joined us LIVE in studio on Montana Talks.

Find out what he is doing to support the troops, his concert schedule and more. Click below for the full audio of our chat with Tim Montana:
