Boy, 10, Fatally Shot in Southwestern Montana

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — An investigation is underway after a 10-year-old boy was shot and killed in southwestern Montana.

The Helena Independent Record reports the boy, whose name has not been released, was shot in Radersburg on Thursday and died on the way to the hospital. A man is being questioned about the death.

Broadwater County Sheriff Wynn Meehan said without elaborating that investigators are processing two crime scenes near the tiny, rural town southeast of Helena. No other information was released.
