"Montana State University Billings has initiated an MSUB Alert at 10:30 a.m. MST," according to an alert sent out to students, faculty and staff. "Montana State University Billings received a bomb threat call earlier today. University PD and Billings PD are currently assessing the threat. As a precaution, faculty, staff and students on the University campus and City College campus have been asked to vacate buildings."

The university's Child Care Center has also been evacuated.

The threat was called in to both the Billings PD and the MSUB PD and both police agencies are currently looking for any signs of an explosive device. University police are taking the lead but the Billings PD are on hand to assist in the investigation.
