Billings Woman Charged with DUI

Q2 reports that a Billings woman faces multiple felony charges for crashing her car while allegedly driving under the influence with two young children in the vehicle.  29-year-old Tiffany Costa was charged in Yellowstone County Justice Court with two counts of felony child endangerment and one count of felony assault on a peace officer.  Billings Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on South Plainview Street and Fairvale Drive on Sunday.

An officer who spoke with Costa reported the strong smell of alcohol on her breath.  Costa’s speech was slurred and her eyes appeared bloodshot.  Her 4-year-old and 6-year-old children were in the vehicle when it crashed.  Costa was being loaded into the back of a Billings Police car when she allegedly kicked an officer in the face.  She later told jail staff that she has an alcohol problem.
