Two new Montana Highway Patrol troopers will be assigned to the Billings station following the 63rd  Advanced Academy Graduation ceremony on Friday.

Troopers Toni Snelling (L) and Calvin Jimmerson (R) are pictured above. Snelling is the recipient of the The Michael Haynes Memorial Grant. This award was presented in loving memory of Trooper Michael W. Haynes – MHP 159 by his wife, Tawny Haynes Norton.

Attorney General Tim Fox shared the news in a press release Friday, after addressing the graduates at the event.  According to the release, Fox underscored the importance of character and integrity in earning the public’s trust.

"Remember that people, particularly our youth, look up to you and emulate your behavior and actions.  Public service is a time-honored profession.  Your reward is only as meaningful as the effort, energy, and heart you invest into your work,” Attorney General Fox said.

Also sworn in Friday were troopers Branden Timm, who will serve based out of the Columbus station, and Perry Woodland, who will serve based out of Culbertson.

All four are included in the below picture sent out by AG Fox via Twitter.
