It seems daily during the late afternoon we are all checking the Billings weather forecast.  Doing our own storm chasing via the internet.  As of late this afternoon clouds have been forming into what the National Weather Service has classified as a Hazardous Weather Outlook.

Hazardous Weather Outlook:

Thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening and some storms may be severe.  Large hail will be the main threat.  Damaging winds and isolated tornadoes are also possible.

If thunderstorms hit the Billings area with heavy rain, wind and hail, it will be the 3rd storm this week. Some areas west of Billings reported golf ball size hail that damaged sugar beet and corn crops as well as grain fields in our area earlier this week.
