29-year-old Jay Witkowski could face up to 80 years in prison after admitting to the murder of a Glasgow woman.  KTVQ.com reports the Billings area man appeared Wednesday in a Glasgow courtroom and pleaded guilty to the New Year’s Eve murder of 30-year-old Evelynn Garcia.  Witkowski reportedly pleaded for a 70 year prison term, with an additional 10 years for using a dangerous weapon.  He is scheduled to be sentenced next month.

Garcia was found in the road by a Samaritan, covered in blood and severely injured.  Prosecutors said she was in a car with Witkowski when he repeatedly stabbed her and beat her with a tire iron.  He then pushed her out of the moving vehicle and ran her over.  Witkowski was arrested that night.  She was flown to a hospital in Billings where she died three days later.
