A 26-year-old woman has been charged with criminal child endangerment after being involved in a car accident while possibly intoxicated.

Michelle Ann Kosich appeared Monday in Yellowstone County Court, charged with one felony count of criminal child endangerment.  Justice of the Peace David Carter held Kosich in lieu of a $2,500 bond and ordered her to be placed on 24/7 alcohol monitoring.
According to court documents, at approximately 6:30 Monday evening, Billings Police responded to a crash at the intersection of 32nd Street West and Central Avenue.  A woman had crashed into the back of another car as it waited in a line of traffic at the intersection.  The woman was identified as Kosich and a 1-year-old child was in the back seat of her car.  Kosich was arrested after officers suspected she was intoxicated. Information regarding custody of the child was not released.
